One of today’s writing exercises was to come up with our own Turbine Hall installation.
Mine was called ‘I’m Important! I’m Important! I’m Important!’ and it involved a huge fishtank full of goldfish in the centre of the hall. Everytime someone was heard to say “I don’t get it” a fish was taken out and shot. In the background there was a looped recording of the artist’s mother saying “well I like it”.
